AUDIO & VISUAL METHOD:-

EXPLANATION:

Also known as "AV systems'. Refers to both sound and pictures, which are typically in the form of slides or video and recorded speech or music. AV systems are all around us. Some of the types of AV systems are live radio, TV programmes, recording and presentations.

AUDIO:

Sound, especially when recorded, transmitted or reproduced is called audio.

EDITING:

The process of adding and cutting data from the recorded clips is known as editing. Further we have two main types of editing; Linear and Non-Linear Editing. Following is the definition and explanation of both types of editing.

1- LINEAR EDITING:

Also known as analogue editing or tape to tape editing. This method was used for video tapes. One of the simplest and inexpensive methods for editing. According to many professionals, if an editor learns this skill, it ultimately increases their knowledge and versatility in the field of editing. Back in 1990's this method was simply called "editing".

2- NON-LINEAR EDITING:

Also known as digital editing or offline editing. In this method the edits are specified and modified through special software in computers.


VIDEO PRODUCTION PROCESS


EXPLANATION:-

Video comes in different sizes and shapes. From a simple iphone camera the way upto major Hollywood film. Video production is more then simply pressing on the record button on your camera recorder. The process of video production from concept to completion consists of three phases.

1- Pre-production Phase

2- Production Phase

3- Post Production Phase

PRE-PRODUCTION PHASE:

It is the first phase of video production. Which consists of preparation and selecting of groundwork. Idea, research, planning and strory-boarding is a part of this phase. It also includes;
1- Budget/scope
2- Strategy/planning
3- Production team needs/equipment
4- Location scouting
5- Script selection

PRODUCTION PHASE:

Actual shooting and recording takes place in this phase, where the producer, director and the production team is involved in recording the video as planned in pre-production phase.

POST-PRODUCTION PHASE:

It is the third and the final phase of video production process. The producer and director go for work and the production team begin the process to plan, organize and edit the content. Just wait and see the magic. Of-course, some patience and wait is necessary because it is not something that could happen overnight. This phase includes;
1- Mixing
2- Selection of music
3- Transition
4- Editing
5- Reviews/Approval
6- Logging

The production team will handle all the nuts and bolts of making your project come to life.
