Look At Things In A Bigger Way

Dealing with conflicts can be really hard, especially when you and someone else see things very differently. It's normal to get stuck in your own point of view and not get what the other person is saying. But the trick to solving problems often comes when you look at things in a bigger way.
When things are super heated, it feels like you can't see anything but your own side. But if you take a moment to step back in your mind and look at the situation from far away, it can show you a different picture. This zooming out thing means trying to cool off your emotions and see things from a more neutral angle.
In this bigger perspective, you might notice that, even if you and the other person seem totally different, there are things you both care about. Finding these common things you value can be a strong way to connect, even when you're in the middle of an argument.
The tough part is getting past the feeling of being stuck in your own thoughts during a fight. It's like changing the channel in your mind to see the situation in a new light. Even though it takes some effort and thinking, the good part is you might discover something you both care about, making it easier to work things out.
