"Eager Minds: The Enthusiasm of Knowledge-Sharing"

For many days, I have been observing people from different professions and from various family backgrounds. From a farmer to a working-class laborer, then an architect, plumber, or carpenter, and from a well-educated professional like an engineer, doctor, or journalist to a well-experienced individual with a lot of life's experiences, each one of them wants to say something, whatever is within their capacity. Let me give you an example to explain my point more clearly.

Today, I came into a discussion with a carpenter who was an expert in designing wooden cupboards and other accessories. So, when I sat with him while he was taking a short break from his work, to my surprise, he started talking about the current situation of Pakistan's politics, which was not his business, yet he was so enthusiastic to share all the information and knowledge he gathered as per his understanding of politics through watching videos on Facebook or other social media platforms. Though his argument was incomplete with very little knowledge, he still shared all his knowledge with us.

I just want to make a point that every individual desires to express themselves and share their thoughts. The internet has opened up numerous avenues for people to access knowledge, regardless of its accuracy or authenticity. I have seen so many individuals watch informational videos on YouTube; later on, when there is a chance for discussion, they often proceed to share this newfound knowledge without considering their audience or adhering to the fundamental principles of effective communication, such as the 5W and 1H formulas (when to speak, what to speak, where to speak and why, to whom to speak, and how). These individuals assert that the knowledge they have acquired from a particular YouTube video is accurate and that they are intellectuals. However, their lack of context, relevance, and discernment renders their sharing of information awkward and sometimes even annoying.

In conclusion, while it is admirable that people from diverse backgrounds wish to express their thoughts and share their knowledge, it is important to approach such situations with sensitivity, relevance, and a conscious understanding of effective communication. The individuals I have observed, hailing from different professions and backgrounds, all possess a genuine desire to express their thoughts and share their knowledge. However, it is important for us to approach such discussions with caution, ensuring that the information we disseminate is from authentic sources, accurate, and well-informed.
